It is a tradition in the Educational and Pastoral Project of the Institution Saint Louis de Dagneux to organise an integration day for sixth form students at the beginning of the school year. Most of these young people, who are new to the school and come from a variety of backgrounds, do not know each other.
On the occasion of the Jubilee of 2025, Pope Francis invited the entire Catholic Church to make a pilgrimage to Rome and celebrate this time of grace. He extended a special invitation to young people, encouraging them to cross the Holy Door of St. Peter’s during the Jubilee of Youth.
On Saturday 9 August, the XXX Meeting of Sa-Fa catechists and animators took place in the Liceo Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe de Canelones, which brought together more than 70 people from all the schools of the Sa-Fa Family in Uruguay.
Between the Covid and other circumstances, 9 years had passed since the IX Olympiad held in Turin. Lyon and Dagneux hosted this 10th edition, which has the added value of recovering an old tradition of the Sa-Fa Family. Despite the extreme heat, these were days of rich conviviality and an enjoyable sporting and cultural participation.
The environmental project promoted by the students of the CPR Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Fisterra, known as Brigada Verde, has been awarded with the Zinkers National Prize in the Secondary category.
The Nazarene Spirituality Youth Camp (AJEN 1) was held from 18 to 21 June with the motto: “Under the humble roof of Nazareth”. The meeting was held in the Villa Sagrada Familia in San Antonio de Arredondo, Córdoba, Argentina. About 100 young people, catechists and 3 Brothers participated.
The presence of the Brothers in Guaranda, province of Bolivar (Ecuador) will be 25 years old in the year 2025. The work of the Brothers during these 25 years was remembered during the patronal celebrations of the Unidad Educativa Verbo Divino, in the last week of May.
A group of students from the Charles de Foucauld school in Lyon took part in the Jubilee of Adolescents in Rome from 23 to 27 April. It was planned to participate in the canonisation of Charles Acutis, but in the end the death of Pope Francis has changed some of the celebrations.
It was with great joy that we celebrated the perpetual profession of Brothers Manish Kiro, Ashwin Toppo and Mojesh Barla at Holy Family School, Kurdeg. This is the first time this has happened in this community. Welcome, Brothers!
Among the most ambitious initiatives of the Sa-Fa Valladolid VET centre is the Higía Project: Social Robot, a proposal for applied innovation, developed in collaboration with the centres CIFP Avilés, CIFP Majada Marcial and the company Ofinnova 3D.
