On “missions” in Ecuador

The celebration of the Holy Week for Catholics encourages us every year in Ecuador to collaborate with the communities and parishes that do not have priests. We organise paraliturgical celebrations, we accompany children, young people and families so that they can live these holy days in the most dignified way possible. This year we have collaborated in the areas of Pelileo, Ambato, Caluma, Echeandia, Canelos and 10 de Agosto. The participation was very positive with 49 students from our 3 Educational Units, 10 Brothers and novices, 4 members of the Nazarene Fraternity and a teacher. We were also able to participate in the Easter youth meeting in Pelileo with 500 young people and to contribute with food to underprivileged people.
