First Professions – Angola
Our Institute continues to flourish gradually in Angola, as on 1 August Brothers Agostinho Linhemo Miguel, André Pratício António Ângelo and Natalino D’Silva Anjo Bonito – all of Angolan nationality – celebrated their first religious profession.
Perpetual profession in Burkina Faso
On the 26th, the feast day of Saint Anne, patron saint of this African part of the Province, Brother Arsène Kerè took his perpetual vows during the celebration of the Eucharist. He was accompanied by almost all the Brothers living in Africa. Congratulations!
Feast of Saint Anne in Belleydoux
As is now traditional, on Saturday 25 July, the Brothers from the two communities in Belley took part in the celebration of the Eucharist held at the Chapel of Saint Anne in Belleydoux. A group of local people joined us for this celebration.

Renewal of Vows – East Timor
At the closing Mass, at 11.30 am, 12 scholastic Brothers renewed their religious vows for one year and two Brothers for two years. During the sign of peace, all the Brothers prayed the prayer of mutual forgiveness in unison and exchanged the sign of peace.

On 17 July, we celebrated the rite of admission to the novitiate for Pedro Oliveira Kemalandua, a native of Mbanza Kongo (Zaire), and Miguel Vilyengue Maria, a native of Huambo.

Once again this year, the Pastoral Team has given around 100 children and young people – from Year 3 to Year 9 – the chance to enjoy a summer experience with a difference: a week ‘filled with JOY’!!! It’s a way of continuing the ‘family’-centred educational project that characterises our Sacra Famiglia school in Turin.
First Profession in Indonesia
Under the motto “Jangan takut” (Luke 1:30) (Do not be afraid), the first profession of seventeen novices – eleven Indonesians and six Timorese – was celebrated on the afternoon of 11 July.
