Taborin Marau, pastoral in action

The Pastoral Ministry at Gabriel Taborin School in Marau, Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) organises a series of social activities involving its five social groups. Among these events, the Pastoral Luau stands out as a time when pupils from the Criança Sa-Fa groups right up to the Jovem Sa-Fa groups, including representatives from the Family Pastoral, can share experiences of spirituality, charism and dialogue.
The latest edition of the Taborin Pastoral Luau took place on the evening of 14 July and concluded with a special moment. That evening provided an opportunity for reflection on the importance of listening, respect, prayer, and care for the environment and our Common Home. This was in addition to the need to carry forward the Taborin Charism, based on the values of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
The Pastoral Sector currently has over 100 participants, including children, teenagers and young people, as well as the families who are part of the Family Pastoral Ministry. In this regard, the aim is gradually to include more and more members of the school community, bearing in mind that everyone can be part of the Sa-Fa Pastoral Ministry; after all, we are one family, sharing common principles and values.
