The educators of the 3 Educational Units of the Sa-Fa Family of Ecuador lived an unforgettable day on 21 March 2025 in Puyo (Ecuador). The U.E. San Vicente Ferrer was the setting for the second day of “Sa-Fa integration”, an event that strengthened the bonds between the schools of Ambato, Guaranda and Puyo.
On 15 and 16 March 2025, the 54th Assembly of the Spanish Federation of Parents’ Associations (FEAMPA) of the Sa-Fa Family Schools of Spain was held at the Colegio Sagrada Familia in Madrid. Brother Superior General greeted the participants with a message from Rome by video conference.
On 17 and 18 February, a training meeting was held with the Directors of the Sa-Fa Family Schools in Burkina Faso and Ghana. It took place in the renovated building of the Scholasticate of Koudougou, Burkina Faso.
Between 30 January and 2 February 2025 the Encounter with Brother Gabriel – “…And God saw that it was good” took place in the Holy Family Church in Brasilia. It was an encounter with the person of the Founder, trying to deepen his charism, emphasizing the care of the other and the safeguarding of the environment.
Since Saturday 18th, the young people of the Sa-Fa Family from Argentina and Uruguay have been on Mission in the Calchaquíes Valleys: More than 40 years of Faith and Encounter. This year, under the motto “Barefoot on the way to meet you”.
As every year, a few days before Christmas, many children dedicate a morning to give a smile and a star to people they meet on the street. This year the diocesan day of Star-Seeders was held in the parish to which our school in Madrid belongs.
On 5 and 6 December, the Colegio Sagrada Familia in Ambato hosted an enriching training meeting for all the teaching and administrative staff of the three educational units of the Sa-Fa Family in Ecuador.
On the weekend of 30 November and 1 December a new Sa-Fa Family Meeting was held in Sigüenza. Some 120 people participated, including Brothers, catechists, members of the Fraternities and educators,
On 24 November the sculptural group “Brother Gabriel on the way out” was inaugurated in Ambato (Ecuador) at the “Sagrada Familia” Educational Unit in Ambato. It was the closing of the 200th anniversary of the departure of Brother Gabriel and the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Holy Family Educational Unit of Ambato.
The San José School Museum, inaugurated in 2008 to celebrate the centenary of the school and the arrival of the Brothers of the Holy Family in Argentina, opened its doors to join the “Night of the Museums”.
