The annual National Meeting of the Nazarene Fraternities of Ecuador was held at the Rivotorto Meeting Centre (near Ambato). On 21 and 22 March, 55 members of the FFNN gathered. Several brothers also took part, and on the first day we were joined by two members of the Lago Agrio Fraternity. The theme of the gathering was: “Let us be transformed”. Amidst a variety of activities and group exercises, prepared with great enthusiasm by the four Fraternities, we discussed the conclusions of the last virtual international gathering held in recent months and agreed on some practical ways to continue to encourage and grow as Fraternities. Group work, prayer, activities and dialogue formed the methodology used. There was no shortage of moments of artistic expression and fun prepared by the members of the four Fraternities on Saturday evening. A special moment was the renewal of commitments by some members of the Fraternities: four made their commitment for the first time, five made their definitive commitments and seven renewed their commitments. The rite of commitments took place during the Eucharist on Sunday 22nd, with which we concluded the gathering. All participants were delighted with this “inter-fraternity” experience, organised with particular dedication by the three national coordinators.
