It is a tradition in the Educational and Pastoral Project of the Institution Saint Louis de Dagneux to organise an integration day for sixth form students at the beginning of the school year. Most of these young people, who are new to the school and come from a variety of backgrounds, do not know each other. This day is therefore designed to enable them to get to know each other better, make new friends, fraternise and socialise as a Sa-Fa Family too.
For some years now, the Ars Sanctuary has been the venue chosen by our school for this event. This high holy place, which has a historical link with the Brothers of the Holy Family, is ideal for presenting the figure of Jean-Marie Vianney, this great saint with a loving and virtuous heart, a model for all.
Once again this year, on the sunny Friday of 05 September 2025, our young people took to the shrine of Ars with the same enthusiasm, dynamism and fervour. Between film screenings, tours of the site, picnics and games in the meadow, the children really made the most of the day. You could see the satisfaction on their faces, embellished by the bright sunshine.
The gamble paid off! See you next year with a new generation of youngsters. May the Lord, through the merits of the Curé d’Ars, inspire us to good deeds for the good of our young people. Many thanks to the entire educational and pastoral team. Frère Samuel GNARGO
