On 6 December 2025, the Meeting of Directors and Provincial Animation Teams of the Uruguay sector was held at the Sagrada Familia School in Montevideo, marking the end of the 2023-2025 triennium. More than 50 participants were present. The day began with a welcome and the reading of a greeting sent by Brother José Mamerto Sánchez, the new Provincial Animator.
The meeting was experienced as an authentic exercise in synodality, a ‘walking together’ that allowed us to recognise faces, share experiences and appreciate the fruits of the work done. This atmosphere of listening and dialogue allowed us to grow as a Sa-Fa Family, strengthening our closeness and true encounter.
The diversity of realities present — schools and cooperatives — provided testimonies that illuminated the day with stories of resilience, processes of overcoming adversity, and plurality.
The Provincial Communication Team presented the new Provincial Motto, a true corollary of what was experienced during the day: ‘Diverse and original, we are Nazareth.’ This phrase summarises the richness of our communities, the plurality of faces and experiences, and the unity that identifies us in our shared charism.
The day concluded with the celebration of Holy Mass in thanksgiving, a profound moment of communion and gratitude for all that has been accomplished during the triennium.
This closing of the triennium is not an end, but a new beginning: a call to renew our identity and to look to the future with confidence, knowing that our strength lies in our shared charism and in the certainty that Nazareth continues to be our home, our horizon and our inspiration.
