On 21 March, the 2026 Formation Meeting for members of the Nazarene Fraternities of Uruguay was held in San José de Mayo. This year’s theme was ‘Reflections on Nazareth and our shared charism in the light of the General Chapter’, and we were greatly enriched by the presentation given by Br. Provincial Animator José Mamerto Sánchez, who invited us to delve deeper into the spirituality of the Sa-Fa Family, so that we might be better witnesses of hope and promoters of life in our daily lives, based on our baptismal consecration.
Five Brothers and 34 members of the FFNN Uruguay took part in the gathering: St Anne, Gabriel Taborin, St John the Baptist, Our Lady of Guadalupe, St Joseph the Worker, the Fraternity of Renewal and St Joseph the Young. During the closing Eucharist, we offered up our experiences, and two members of the Fraternities of St Joseph renewed their commitments. In summary, during the gathering we were able to pray, work and strengthen our fraternal bonds, so that we might love following the example of the Holy Family itself.
