After the pandemic and the rehabilitation works of the building, little by little the activity is coming back, now in a completely renovated structure. Communities of young people, groups of teachers, groups of pupils from our schools are returning to this very familiar hostel.
But groups from other institutions are also returning: parishes, scout groups, families, etc. As always, the conviviality and the new comforts offered by the hostel make for a positive stay. As an example, we transcribe the testimony of the leader of a Catholic Scout Group from Alcorcón (Madrid) who stayed at the hostel from 27 to 30 December:
“Yesterday my community, Emuná, got together to pray and share these days of Christmas. And I shared how tremendously fortunate I felt in that camp, bringing together my two worlds there. Sigüenza, that house, the brothers? The work that you do is unquestionable, it is often not seen, because you do it in silence, after all that is what God does with us every day. And this is how I have felt wrapped up and embraced by you during those days in the camp. That’s why I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart, there was no better way or better place to end the year. Joining faith, Sa-Fa, brotherhood and scouts. Thank you. Ana Fuertes. Former student of the Madrid School
