As every year, on August 25th, the civic parade was held in Salto (UY) with the participation of all the schools, high schools, civil groups, cavalry, sharecroppers, police and civil and military authorities. This year the ‘Holy Family’ College and High School wanted to involve the population in the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the beginning of Brother Gabriel’s mission with an allusive poster and the flags of the countries where the Congregation is present. ‘It is something that has always distinguished the school, founded by Brother Fernando González in the 1930s, and its evolution and permanence continue to this day’ (Brother Germán).
