AJEN 2024 – The first AJEN (Nazarene Spirituality Youth Camp) took place from 19 to 22 June, after the interruption caused by the pandemic and the necessary process of reconstituting the Youth Ministry processes. These processes were the prerequisites for being able to offer this retreat, which from the outset has been like a point of arrival at the kerygmatic proclamation of Nazareth.
Around 80 young people aged between 17 and 18 took part, from Sa-Fa Family presences in Santa Maria, Escuti, Taborin, Buenos Aires and Tandil.
It was an experience of extraordinary spiritual and charismatic intensity. The mystery of the love revealed in Nazareth was expressed in the profound joy experienced in the moments of personal and community prayer, as well as in those of shared work and brotherly love, experienced with particular intimacy in each life community (groups of 8 or 9 young people from different places).
We thank God the Family for having revealed to us, once again, the mystery of Jesus revealed in Nazareth, with Mary and Joseph. Thank you to the members of the coordination team (Agustín Marana, Mariano Dadiego, Malena Pittaro, Lucio Lamari, Agustina Cena, Bianca Beltramino and Fr. Fernando León), as well as to the chaperones at each location, who worked alongside the young people throughout the experience.
