Between the 26th and 28th of September 2025, the retreat of the NNF of the Province of Our Lady of Hope for Uruguay was held at the Good Shepherd House in Florida. The theme chosen was: “Nazarene Fraternities, Pilgrims of Hope”. Fernando Perera, we went through the different pilgrimages present in our spirituality, inspired by the Holy Family.
The Retreat was attended by 34 people, Brothers and lay people from different fraternities: Santa Ana, Gabriel Taborin, Inocencio Da Rosa, San Juan Bautista, San José Obrero, San José Renovadora, San José Joven, Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Salto and Minas.
The atmosphere of prayer and fraternity helped the participants to experience the pilgrimage we made to the cathedral of Florida, where one of the sites chosen to celebrate the Jubilee of Hope is located. The spirit of meditation and reflection allowed the participants to deepen their relationship with God. The central moment was the shared Eucharist. During it, there were 7 commitments: three participants (Liria Dechia, Dina Quinteros and Gabriela Marcotte) made permanent commitments, and 4 participants (Liliana Moleda, Ramón Rivas, Rosario Moreira and Osvaldo Menyou) renewed the commitment to live the Gospel and work in the Church for the Kingdom of God, inspired by the Holy Family of Nazareth and living the family spirit in their respective states of life, in conformity with the Statute of the Nazarene Fraternity Association.
