Solidarity project in Sa-Fa Itapiranga (Brazil)

On 26 May, a group of students and the pastoral coordination of the school took part in an initial activity to draw up an ecological project for the production of vegetables in a poor community in the rural area of Itapiranga. The project is a co-participation with social assistance and agricultural organisations of the municipality.
The project aims to carry out, from now on, with regular visits and with the participation of the families of the assisted community Vila União itself, a process of production of some food products that reality allows. And for the students involved, an opportunity to demonstrate solidarity and contact with people in a situation of greater vulnerability and who also dream of better conditions.
