On 26 July 2024, we celebrate Saint Anne and Joachim, the patronal feast of our Province. Gathered in the parish church of Saint André in Sâaba, the Brothers of the Province of N. D. de Lorette-Sainte Anne Province in its African sector celebrated a tripartite event. It was the first profession, the perpetual vows and the golden jubilee respectively of our confrères: Fr. Dominique OUEDRAOGO, Fr. Grégoire DOMELEVO and Fr. Raphael SIMPORE.
The ceremony was presided over by Father Alfred OUEDRAOGO, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou. The event was attended by a strong delegation of Brothers from the European sector of our Province, namely from Italy and France, who had come for the Provincial Chapter. In fraternal communion, the Brothers were surrounded by a hundred priests, men and women religious, the great Sa-Fa Family and the Christian faithful. The wishes of the Brothers were received by Brother Julien Zoungrana, Provincial Superior, who thanked everyone and recommended to our prayers the soul of Brother Lazare NIKIEMA, who should be celebrating his golden jubilee today.
While giving thanks to the Lord, we congratulate all those elected today and recommend this part of our Institute and all the Brothers to God through the Venerable Brother Gabriel TABORIN and the Holy Family for a true dynamism and a certain renewal of the whole Institute.
