On the 25th of November, the first religious profession of the novice Nicolás Silva took place in the Cathedral of Salto (Uruguay). Nicolás was born in Salto. He completed the stages of Aspirancy and Postulancy in the communities of Córdoba (AR) and San José de Mayo (UY). He did his Novitiate in the house in Quito with Brother Fernando Cob as his teacher. On the part of the Province during this time of novitiate he has been accompanied by several Brothers of the Province with some visits and with meetings and classes by videoconference.
The celebration was held in the cathedral of Salto. The Eucharist was presided over by Brother Fernando Perera, and several priests from Salto concelebrated. On this important day for the Brother and the Province, he was accompanied by his family, by several Brothers of the Province, by Brother José Mª Esteban who was also his formator in the novitiate and by other friends and members of the Sa-Fa Family. Br. Edgardo Bruzoni received the vows on behalf of the Superior General. The Eucharist was followed by a fraternal meal. We thank the Lord of life for this new gift in Brother Nicolás.
