Nazarene Mission in Uruguay

From the 20th to the 23rd of September a new Nazarene Mission of young people from the Colleges of Uruguay took place. About 80 young people lived this experience in the town of Progreso in the department of Canelones. It was a rich time of encounter and deepening of the charism through fraternal service. In addition to the activities among the young people themselves, part of the time had a social purpose, as a missionary activity towards others. They visited an old people’s home, a Child Care Centre (CAIF) and a centre for people trying to reintegrate into society after serving prison sentences.
