On 26 July, the feast of St. Anne and St. Joachim, the Brothers of the Province of Loreto-St. Anne celebrated the patronal feast of the Province. On this occasion the celebration took place in the parish church of St. Andrew, whose capacity was overflowing with about 2000 participants. The occasion merited it: First profession of Brothers Victorien Gansonre, Pierre Ouoba and Elie Sawadogo. Perpetual vows of Brothers Evrad Koutoumpo, Aimé Nikiema, David Kombetto and Joël Sandwidi. Silver jubilee of Brother Albert Sawadogo. Golden jubilee of Brothers Bonaventure Yougbaré, Louis Kalmogo and Jean Claude Kaboré. And to crown the 70 years of religious life of Brother Francis Sawadogo, Dean of the Province.
The ceremony was presided over by His Eminence Philippe Ouédrago, Cardinal, Archbishop of Ouagadougou and 5 other Bishops. The Brothers were accompanied by dozens of priests, religious men and women, together with a large group of faithful. Brother Julien Zoungrana, Provincial, received the vows. Undoubtedly a great day to give thanks to God who continues to bless this part of the Congregation with dedicated and faithful Brothers. Congratulations!
