Sa-Fa educators’ retreat in Uruguay
Under the motto “Seekers”, the Sa-Fa educational communities of Uruguay, on Saturday 26th April we shared the Educators’ Meeting at the San Juan Bautista School, which generously welcomed us. And we lived with strength the “Family Spirit” that Brother Gabriel taught us.
First Profession in Eluru (In)
The Delegation of India rejoiced as Bro. Albert William, FSF, professed his first vows in the Institute of the Brothers of Holy Family. The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Rev. Fr. Joy, OMI, was held at Formation house of Eluru, with priests, sisters, aspirants, novices, and Bro. Albert’s family in attendance
Meetings of Fraternities: UY – EC – ES
This weekend, the second Sunday of Lent, the fraternities of Uruguay and Ecuador celebrated their annual formation meeting or spiritual retreat. The Fraternity of Gavà in Spain also held its annual retreat.
First Profession in Colombia
On 8 February, in the chapel of the Community of Bucaramanga, Colombia, Brothers Carlos Alberto Laverde and Carlos Mario Amaya made their First Profession. Br Jorge García, Provincial, received their vows.
Meeting with Brother Gabriel
Between 30 January and 2 February 2025 the Encounter with Brother Gabriel – “…And God saw that it was good” took place in the Holy Family Church in Brasilia. It was an encounter with the person of the Founder, trying to deepen his charism, emphasizing the care of the other and the safeguarding of the environment.
Retreat and conviviality. Province of Hope
From 7 to 15 January, the Brothers of the Province of Our Lady of Hope held a retreat at Villa Sagrada Familia in Cordoba. Some members of the FFNN with permanent commitments also participated in the retreat.
Chapter Vice Province of St. Joseph the Worker
The First Chapter of the Vice Province of St. Joseph the Worker was held in Kupang, Indonesia, from 27 to 31 December 2024. The Chapter adopted the motto “We walk with Brother Gabriel in the footsteps of St. Joseph”..
Nazarene Fraternities of Uruguay
On the 7th of December, in the Gabriel Taborin retreat house in Montevideo, the meeting “Convivencia de Fraternidades Nazarenas de Uruguay” took place. It brought together those fraternal members who participate in the same in the country.
Solidarity lunch. CAM – Italy
On Sunday 1 December, the traditional solidarity lunch was held at Villa Brea, attended by around 200 people. Friends, collaborators, benefactors, linked to the large Sa-Fa Family, generously responded to the invitation.
