The Executive Committee called together the members who gathered in Villa Sagrada Familia, San Antonio de Arredondo, Córdoba, a place of great significance for those of us who are part of the Sa-Fa Family. Under this year’s motto “We weave meetings for Peace”, and thinking that each meeting is an opportunity to live the Sa-Fa charism in all its dimensions, two days of work took place, which were conceived from the beginning in terms of fraternity.
On the other hand, the Ordinary Assembly was held over two days. During the first day, the Annual Report and the financial statements for the 2023-2024 financial year were presented to the members for their consideration; the authorities were also renewed as required by the Statute, electing the Board of Directors and the Accounts Review Commission for the 2024-2026 period, and the incorporation of new protective members and the upgrading to active status of those who requested it and fulfilled the necessary conditions were approved.
On the second day, issues related to membership were addressed, working along three axes of interest: the ASF as a space of identity, the ASF as a body in interaction and co-responsible for the announcement of the kingdom with the IVC, and the ASF as a space that is challenged by the context and reality to redefine itself and respond to it.
“The ASF is a civil organisation inserted in the church and from there it is projected that being a member has in itself a formal dimension, a vocational and faith option, and an assumed mission that is reflected in the commitment.
