On Sunday 1 December, the traditional solidarity lunch was held at Villa Brea, attended by some 200 people. Friends, collaborators, benefactors, linked to the large Sa-Fa Family, generously responded to the invitation. With the solidarity lunch this year, we joined the Paga la Panga Project, in Morè language, Woman is Strength. This will involve drilling a borehole and installing a Volanta pump to provide drinking water and food for a cooperative of 30 women who are mothers and internal refugees. The project is in collaboration with the non-profit Equiliberi Association and the Goada 30 network, which is responsible for the implementation on site. “Your initiative, steeped in compassion and solidarity, provides vital support to our social work and contributes significantly to improving the lives of many vulnerable people in our country in Burkina Faso. Your dedication inspires hope and demonstrates the positive impact that collective action can have in the fight against inequality and socio-economic hardship…This solidarity transcends borders and testifies to the strength of the unity that binds us all, whatever our continent.” (Brother Julien Zoungrana) May the Holy Family, Brother Gabriel, accompany us to return soon to this beloved country.
