A very good news to the delegation of India and to the institute. After long gap before and after the pandemic in Eluru formation house, six postulants entered the Novitiate in a simple ceremony at the Eluru community, witnessed by aspirants, novices, and brothers at 7:15 PM. The names of the Novices: Welson Mynsong, Jeremias Baa, Ezekia Francis, Naveen Kerketta, Josh Toppo and Sachin Tete. The rite began with a procession, followed by prayers, the presentation of the traditional dress code “Jibba” (novitiate habit). Bro. Sagar the Novice master led the ceremony and emphasized the importance of the Novitiate in the life of Religious and discernment. After the blessing, the new novices lit candles from the Paschal Candle, symbolizing their call to be Christ’s light. The ceremony ended with joyful thanksgiving, marking the beginning of their canonical year of formation. We earnestly request the entire institute to keep these novices in your prayers as they start this sacred journey. Thank you, and may God bless our new novices!
