At the end of the Eucharist, after a few words from Brother Fernando Cob, as Delegate, explaining the rite that was to be performed, the Bishop of Puyo, Monsignor Rafael Cob, after blessing the candles commemorating the jubilee, presented them to the representatives of the four communities of Brothers and the three educational units, symbolising the flame of the mission that has been maintained for these 50 years with the hope of continuing to illuminate another 50. Afterwards, Brother Miguel \u00c1ngel Gonz\u00e1lez, the oldest brother in Ecuador and founder of the first community in Lago Agrio, gave each Brother a scarf with Andean motifs and the Jubilee logo, on which was written this year&#8217;s motto: \u2018Educate the heart and evangelise Life\u2019. After praying the special jubilee prayer together with the faithful in the cathedral, everyone moved to the \u2018Fraternity Hall\u2019 in the Vicariate building. Once again, Brother Fernando took the floor to explain the meaning of the logo and the motto, and to present the agenda for 2026, which will include various events until the end of September when this jubilee year will come to a close.
