On June 22nd and 23rd, as every year, the retreat of the Nazarene Fraternities of Uruguay took place in the house of the Good Shepherd in Florida with the participation of the coordinating team from Argentina and Brazil.
More than 40 members of the Fraternities participated, between lay people and Brothers, to make the retreat around the last exhortation of the Pope: “Gaudete et exsultate”. Brother Edgardo Bruzzoni in collaboration with Prof. Rosa Ramos animated the retreat.
During the Eucharist, presided over by the Bishop of Florida, some members renewed their commitments, others did so for the first time and another definitively. Brother Ernesto Cordero, advisor of the NNFF, received the commitments as delegate of the Brother Provincial. An emotional celebration in which those who made the commitment received the fraternal embrace of all who were present. The retreat posed many challenges for all of us and motivated us to follow the path of the Beatitudes proposed by Jesus.
