Now that the pandemic has largely subsided, the Government of Karnataka has given permission to open schools for the younger children. Our Holy Family School has opened classes for all from the 2nd of November. On the occasion of Children’s Day which is celebrated in India on the 14th of November we organised a nice fancy dress competition with the students. A Sister of Charity of St. John helped us by being the animator of the party.
But the highlight for the history of this new school happened on the 24th of November. For the first time we were able to celebrate the feast of the Founder with some outstanding events. We used the occasion to give out the prizes for the costume competition. We also organised a prayer with the students. In the evening Brothers and all the staff celebrated the Eucharist. About 12 priests and 30 religious Brothers and Sisters attended the celebration. We ended with a brotherhood dinner where we shared joy and happiness.
