The students of the Sa-Fa Family schools in Uruguay have lived two significant experiences that enrich their personal and spiritual development.
The retreat “As in Nazareth”, for middle school students, was an invitation to “live as in Nazareth”. Through love, work and prayer, we lived moments of personal and community reflection. The retreat had two emotional and significant moments, one was the presentation of testimonies of people who live the charism from different vocations (catechists, animators, Brothers and members of the Nazarene Fraternities). The other important moment was the experience of a space where young people could experience the sacrament of reconciliation.
The Camp at the Campanero was for the students of the first year of secondary school. About 50 students from all the schools. They carried out various activities and games, encouraging exchange and the creation of new links. This experience offered the opportunity to reflect on the dream of our Founder: to be one in the spirit of Body and Family. The moments shared at the camp were fundamental for the students to begin to glimpse the importance of community and a sense of belonging. Living together in a natural environment, away from everyday distractions, allowed them to strengthen their identity as part of the Sa-Fa Family.
