During this novena, we will pay attention to certain expressions of the Gospel in which a person or a group, more or less well defined, presents other people to Jesus to ask him to heal them or to ask for his intervention in difficult situations. We too are called, during the novena to the Founder each month, to exercise this same act of charity: to present persons to the Lord so that he may intervene in their lives or in difficult situations. “To intercede, to ask in favor of another, is, since Abraham, the characteristic of a heart tuned to God’s mercy. In the time of the Church, Christian intercession participates in the intercession of Christ: it is the expression of the communion of saints”. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2635).
16. “As Jesus had entered Caphernaum, a centurion came to him and begged him, ‘Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed and suffering terribly. ». Mt 8:5-6
Prayer for each day.
God our Father, who raised Venerable Brother Gabriel Taborin in the Church
to promote Christian Education, Catechesis and liturgical Animation,
Grant us that sharing his charism, we may know how to fulfil our mission today
for the good of the family and society with the strength of your Spirit.
And, if this is your will, grant that he be included in the number of saints,
granting us through his intercession the grace we need…
(mention the names of the persons for whom you wish to pray)
We ask this with insistence through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
