When the Brothers arrived at St. Xavier HS (Savariyar – India), one of the things that they asked us to solve first was the lack of water. The area where the school sits is arid, with little rainfall and salty groundwater.

Over time we have been able to improve other things at school, but the water resisted us. After a lot of fundraising work, facing the difficulties of the pandemic and other technical problems, we have finally been able to install a well 300 meters deep. The water found is a bit salty but thanks to the purifying machine drinking water is obtained. The water flow is abundant, and the drinking water obtained is sufficient to supply the needs of the school.

On September 24th it was inaugurated and began to function. We thank God for this gift and all those who have helped make this project come true, especially Manos Unidas, Carumanda, parishes and schools in Jadraque, Bujalaro, Atienza, Sigüenza, Burgos and Pradoluengo.
