As every year during Holy Week, the traditional Nazarene Mission was carried out in several communities of San José and Flores, with the participation of more than 140 young people from the Holy Family Schools of Uruguay, accompanied by animators and several Brothers.

The young people were distributed in various places forming mission communities. In the department of Flores: La Casilla, Cerro Colorado, San Martín de Porres and Bella Unión. In the department of Soriano in Rodó, Risso, Egaña. In the department of San José in Rafael Perazza and in the city of San José in the chapels of Guadalupe, Picada de las Tunas and Barrio Mariano.

The first days of reflection and preparation for the mission were distributed in the different communities. At the end there was a celebration of the Lord’s Passover. We highlight the dedication of these young people who, leaving aside the “tourism” that characterizes Uruguay this week, have dedicated themselves to bringing the Word and joy to different places of people most in need.
