As every year and after an intense preparation (pre-mission), more than 150 young missionaries from Córdoba, Buenos Aires, Tucumán, and a good number from Uruguay arrived in Santa María, Catamarca to work in the different localities and neighbourhoods.  They were accompanied by several Brothers and coordinators.

Twelve communities of missionaries were formed who stayed in chapels and schools to attend to the different neighbourhoods of the city.  They culminated in the Las Mojarras School where several activities were carried out and a positive evaluation of what had been done.  Brother Valentín Vilka remarked that “it was quite a challenge to receive so many young people, since this year was the one with the greatest attendance.  The presence of God in everything was noticed”.  The commitment of the young people was highlighted because “we had a lot of work but also a lot of response.  We missioned happily and for that I am very grateful,” expressed one of the coordinators.
