Yesterday, 18 September, the General Meeting of Carumanda was held at the Sagrada Familia school in Barcelona. It is the first time that a face-to-face meeting has been held again after the pandemic, which was appreciated. The meeting began with this reflection: many small people in small places, doing small things, can change the world (Eduardo Galeano). The different points of the day were discussed: the situation of each delegation, information about the members, the economic situation, the scholarship campaign and some projects. It was recognised that a renewal of the General Assembly would be necessary. It would be good to find young people who are really committed. It was proposed to make the NGO’s projects visible through a website. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of collaboration and help between the different delegations.
