World Youth Day (WYD) is a meeting of young people from all over the world with the Pope. It is also a pilgrimage, a youth festival, an expression of the universal Church and a strong moment of evangelisation of the world of youth. It is an invitation to a generation determined to build a more just and united world. Despite its clearly Catholic identity, it is open to all, both those closest to the Church and those furthest away from it.

It aims to provide all participants with an experience of the universal Church, encouraging a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. It is a new impulse to faith, hope and charity for the whole community of the host country. With young people as its protagonists, World Youth Day also seeks to promote peace, unity and brotherhood among peoples and nations throughout the world.

At WYD 2023, the Sa-Fa Family will participate, no longer with individual participations, but with a group of its own. We will prepare the WYD experience with a few days together in Sigüenza. There are already 81 young people registered. From Brazil, Uruguay and Spain. We are counting on everyone.
