Ibema – Marau – Itapiranga
Nazarene Fraternity of Marau
We highlight the fraternity and union showed in the mission that we assume as laity as we are.
1. People belonging to the Nazarene Fraternity:
Our Fraternity of Marau is formed by 18 members: Coordinators: Christine and Cleci; Adriana, Beatriz., Geni, Ilka, Ilony, Loize, Marilene, Nádia, Rafaella, Raquel, Rosamari, Sérgio, Rodrigo, Marcus and Valmir.
2. Periodicity of the meetings:
Monthly meeting.
3. Activities entrusted and works done:
We carry out meetings with entities (AMIS) where there are living abandoned children. With them we have moments of reflection and sharing, teaching them the importance of mutual respect and growth in friendship; we do not forget moments for recollection, walks, theatre, sports competitions, always having in mind as centre the Word of God.
We prepare the Dominical Liturgy and the Feast of Brother Gabriel.
4. Project of Live and action proposals:
As we are in the beginnings of the meetings, we want to grow as other Fraternities, drawing up our Project of Life and reaching to be a solid Fraternity.
Some experiences:
“To participate in the Fraternity and to know Br. Gabriel’s life and the charism of the institution, has been an enriching experience. I think that participating in the Nazarene Fraternity contributes to have a deeper view of what is the life and legacy of Bro. Gabriel and the development and mission of the Congregation in the different continents.
In this journey, they also arise feelings like: solidarity, sharing, strengthening of the group and a better closeness between laity and religious, being something positive so that in future the Fraternity may grow every time more” (Raquel M. Ferlin).
“To be able to participate in the Nazarene Fraternities is something very enriching. In it I find inner peace. For me is a commitment of Christian life, since we share in life, prayer, and the best of all, I grow more in faith and prayer. So, I can call this spirituality a “domestic spirituality”, where I try to follow with my family the example of the Holy Family” (Beatriz M. Hermes).
Nazarene Fraternity of Ibema
The Nazarene Fraternity of Ibema had its beginning from an invitation made by the Brothers of the Holy Family to our community (in the time of Br. Ernani Welter, Br. Luigi Ferrero and Valdemir Henz).
We had our first meeting in the Seminary ‘Holy Priest of Ars’, on 18th May, 208, when we came to know the existence of the Nazarene Fraternities and the wish of the Institute to create groups of this kind here.
From then, we have met regularly, twice a month, always in the Seminary, in the evening of Sundays. At present, we have established the second and fourth Sunday of every month.
Members of the group are: Brs. Ernani, Luigi and Ricardo; Jorge and Neuza, Paulo and Geovana, José and Rosilda, Evandro and Andréia, Emerson and Juliana, Alexandre and Salete, Valmir and Nair, Antonio Sérgio and Lalaine.
After some meetings, new proposals of concrete actions came to be, and one of them was the Campaign of the coat, done last year. The Fraternity, in union with the Pastoral of children, carried out collection and distribution of clothes for the needy families of the city.
We also started to be more active in the Sunday Eucharistic celebrations, when we took the responsibility of preparing the comments to the readings, the intercessions, the offerings… Every fourth Sunday of each month.
We drew up a Project of Life, started in 2013, and we are now creating a fund from the monthly contribution of each member.
Nazarene Fraternity of Itapiranga
The name of the members of the Nazarene Fraternity of Itapiranga are: Brothers Jorge and Santos; Beno and Maria; Inês, Sandra, Dolores; Leopoldo and Sueli, Velina; Leoni, José and Ernesta.
The periodicity of our meetings is every month.
Our Project of Life for this year is to deepen the spirituality and to go on doing a process so that next year we may take more commitments.
