On 17-18 September, the Gabriel Taborin House of Belley opened its doors on occasion of the European Days of Patrimony.
The topic of this year “Patrimony and Citizenship” refers to the origins of this event created in 1984: the knowledge of the common goods, of a common history.
The Gabriel Taborin House offered visits with a specific tour: an audio-visual on the topic prepared by Br. Teodoro, that presents the selection of some quotes of the Founder regarding citizenship.
Brother Gabriel Taborin was a forerunner of education for citizenship which gives individual an identity, a conscience of its own existence as member of a community and that includes a set of human and spiritual values. This audio-visual has been very well appreciated by its relevance and actuality. The rain favoured that the number of visitors was numerous.
