The new establishment of the Brothers of the Holy Family in Burkina was supported by the sisters of Brother Oscar: Maria and Valeria Pedersoli. How was the realization of this recent project possible? On February 28, 2019, in Nanoro, Brother Romain Sawadogo founded the AFPPN, the Association of Women for the Protection of Nature. It is a secular, apolitical, and non-profit association. It bans all forms of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, and religion. The Association has been placed under the patronage of the Brothers of the Holy Family.  This project met with the will of the Pedersoli family. The sisters Maria (deceased) and Valeria, both volunteer in Burkina in a camp of work and friendship a few years ago, entirely financed a useful and vital project in favor of women.  The extensive work they carried out had particularly struck the attention of Maria and Valeria. Therefore, in a short time, the Women’s Center, dedicated to the Pedersoli sisters, was created. Here hundreds of women from Nanoro and the surrounding villages will find a home, a meeting place, and work. This center is for them, their families, and their country a sign of hope for a better future.
