The Brothers of Ndona took advantage of the feast of Venerable Brother Gabriel TABORIN to celebrate the blessing of the new Residence of their Community. The Archbishop of Ende, Mons. Vincentius Sensi Potokota, presided over the ceremony which was attended by the priests of the Archbishopric, religious Sisters from three nearby Congregations, teachers from the two diocesan Schools where the Brothers work, leaders of the Christian Communities of the Region, boarders from the technical School SMK St. Vincentius and some neighbours. The choir was formed by the Nuns and Novices of the Holy Face (SSV). Bro. Andrés Galindo and Novice Vinsensius Manek represented the Delegation of Indonesia and Timor-Leste.

After the religious ceremony, the Archbishop addressed a few words of welcome to the Brothers of the new Community and presented them to the Diocese. He stressed the importance of the presence of the Brothers in the Community and thanked them for the witness of their life and apostolic work. The celebration was also an excellent occasion to make our Venerable Founder known, and whose profile was presented with great success by the Vicar General of the Diocese, Father Siryllus Lena, before the blessing of the house.

The Residence of the Community at Ndona is owned by the Archdiocese of Ende and is situated near the Archbishopric, next to the educational Complex where the Brothers work as teachers in the diocesan Schools SMK St. Vincentius and SMP Swasta St. Antonius and as formators in the two corresponding Boys’ Boarding Schools.
