Our venerable Founder professes a great appreciation of catechesis. He writes: "There is no activity more beautiful, more honourable and more meritorious than that of the catechist, if it is exercised with faith...". Gabriel speaks from his own experience. Gabriel so highly appreciated this ecclesial service that he solicited and obtained from Pope Gregory XVI the title of "apostolic catechist".  
    Our educational centres, as far as possible, promote the creation of groups to penetrate ever more deeply in the faith and catechumenal groups. In these the experience of the faith matures and the needs of each young person are responded to.
    The catechumenates of the Eucharist and Confirmation are considered as moments of exceptional educational and catechetical value.
