He is the Founder's successor and  he should be the main heir of his spirit and of his charisma. He represents the Institute before the ecclesiastical and civil authorities and he assures its fidelity to the Church. As animator of the Institute’s religious life he is mainly responsible for fidelity to the Rule.  Helped by Council he exercises the executive power in the whole Institute. He is invested with a personal authority, direct and immediate on the Brothers, communities and Provinces.

     The General Superior  is helped by four Councilors.  The first of them is the Vicar General. The General Councilors are elected in order to be the immediate collaborators of the General Superior in the government of the Institute. Their main mission is to contribute to the animation of the Institute's religious life, to its formation and its apostolate.

 The General Secretary  is responsible for the administrative correspondence, for bringing the registrations of personnel up to date, for conserving the files and all the documents regarding the history and the administration of the Institute.

The General Administrator 

 The General Administrator has care of the administration of the goods of the Institute, under the direction of the Superior General and the control of his Council.

The General Procurator has care of the relations of the  Institute with the Holy See. He transmits to the Superior  General the information and the regulations of the Church, relating.
