History:
* The Brothers expelled from France arrived in Italy in 1903 and
founded the communities of Saluzzo and Villa
Brea (Chieri-Turin).
* Villa Brea is converted to the headquarters of the General
Administration and formation house (aspirancy
and novitiate) first for young Frenchmen, and
then for Italians and Spaniards.
* After the war of 1940-45 other foundations began in Italy (Turin,
Nizza Monferrato).
* In 1963 the houses of Italy form the Province of "Madonna di
Loreto" (five communities and more than 60
Brothers).
* Other foundations came later (Alba, Ome, Verona, Lovere); beginning in
1987, Mexico; and in the last few years some
inserted communities in parishes.
The Present:
The charism of the Founder is expressed through service to the
ecclesial communion by means of the witness of
religious life and fraternity and the
activities of the Brothers: Christian
education, catechesis, animation. Insertion in
parish life and within the social context
characterizes the small communities.

The Future:
Some expressions of the Province's plan of life:
* The community is an evangelical presence based on the Word of
God, called to be converted into: a community
of presence; an open community; a community
with a plan.
* The evangelizing mission is fulfilled above all by means of
witness to what God does in us, and what we
communicate to others.
* The resources on which we can count are: God, the vitality of the
brothers, the persons with whom we journey and
for whom we work, the goods and the structures
that we possess.
