History:
   * The birth of the institute in Africa came about as a result of the fusion, in 1959, of the congregation of the HF Brs of Ouagadougou, founded in 1945 (11 Brothers in three communities), with the HF Brs of Belley.
   * From this moment on, the presence and work of the brothers has been carried out through vocation ministry and formation, which permitted new foundations in Koudougou, Baam, Yimaasgo, Doonsê.
   * The Brothers have increased their missionary experiences in schools, social service centers, schools of professional formation, catechists' schools, parish activities ... In 1986 two communities were founded in the Ivory Coast.
   * Erected as a Vice-Province in 1965 with the name of "Sainte Anne," the African communities, as a sign of their development in all areas, were constituted a Province in 1998.

The Present:
   The witness of religious life and missionary activity is expressed in a wide range of forms of presence and collaboration with the local Church. 
 
* Sâaba Fondée en 1952  Formation house (aspirancy, novitiate, scholasticate). It also contains the Holy Family metal workshop which produces the "Volanta" pump.
* Ouagadougou Founded in 1953 Headquarters of the Province. The community directs the school of Wendmanegda. Brothers work in the publishing house of the diocese, "Presses Africaines," and there are Brothers who are university students.
* Koudougou Founded in 1961 School "Joseph Moukassa:" primary and secondary education.
* Baam Founded in 1964 School for Catechists of the Diocese of Ouahigouya.
* Yimaasgo Founded in 1965 School for Catechists of the Diocese of Koudougou.
* Goundi - Laafi Ziiga Founded in 1966 Three centers that receive poor and neglected youth and offer them formation in animal husbandry, mechanical skills.
* Nanoro Founded in 1972 First an agricultural center and then a Professional High School "Saint-Anne" (1994) with specializations in agronomy and zootechnology. Missionary cooperation in rural areas. Primary school..
* Fada N'Gourma Founded in 1984 Center of professional formation of the diocese: electricity, automotive mechanics, technical design, construction, carpentry 
* Nyonko Founded in 1994 School, "Gabriel Taborin." Two sections: primary and secondary instruction and professional formation: mechanics, electricity, technical design, bakery.
* Ouahigouya Founded in 2000 School for Catechists and Center of professional formation.
* Pîisy Founded in 2001 School, "Sainte Famille", primary and secondary education.

  Ivory Coast:  

* Gagnoa  Founded in1986)  Education in the diocesan school for secondary instruction, "Roger Duquesne."

The Future:
  
    The possibilities of life opening up for the Province are:
   * Inculturation of religious life and the charism of the institute in African regions;
   * Greater intensity in vocational ministry and formation;
   * Missionary openness toward the most needy;
   * The development and organization of the works of the Province.
