History:
* The birth of the institute in Africa came about as a result of
the fusion, in 1959, of the congregation of
the HF Brs of Ouagadougou, founded in 1945 (11
Brothers in three communities), with the HF
Brs of Belley.
* From this moment on, the presence and work of the brothers has
been carried out through vocation ministry and
formation, which permitted new foundations in
Koudougou, Baam, Yimaasgo, Doonsê.
* The Brothers have increased their missionary experiences in
schools, social service centers, schools of
professional formation, catechists' schools,
parish activities ... In 1986 two communities
were founded in the Ivory Coast.
* Erected as a Vice-Province in 1965 with the name of "Sainte
Anne," the African communities, as a sign of
their development in all areas, were
constituted a Province in 1998.
The Present:
The witness of religious life and missionary activity is expressed
in a wide range of forms of presence and
collaboration with the local Church.
